How To Order
Take these steps to secure your dragon w/egg!
1. Choose Dragon
Pick your favorite type and clan. Remember all dragons are unique so yours may not exactly match the photo! ALL DRAGONS COME WITH AN EGG!
2. Checkout
Via stripe, it’s easy. Use credit or debit cards.
3. Local Pickup
Nerding HQ: South Tempe Ray/101. Address sent with receipt. Email to schedule pick up day and time. OR
Summer Camp Gilbert Location: Eduprize Schools campus building 3 (starting June 2 – July 3.)
Why we did this.
3D Printing dragons started as a fun project for our own family (our niece, Alice, wanted one), with the bonus of testing out new filaments for our 3D printing classes. Obsession quickly ensued. Only in the last year or so has dragon printing really been possible for us at Nerding as our 3D printers have gotten bigger, faster, and more consistent. In the last couple months, pretty much everyone who visited our house saw the dragons, were immediately as obsessed as us, and of course, we sent them home with one. The printers have been running non-stop, so we thought we would pop up this shop to get them out to our Nerding community because they are just SO RAD.
These dragons “print in place” all at once. The links connect as they are printed, no assembly required. This is difficult or impossible to achieve through other manufacturing methods like injection molding, making articulated dragons a uniquely 3D printed thing. How cool is that?!
